Prof. Alfredas Račkauskas is a researcher of Mathematics at Vilnius University. He was the head of the department of Econometric analysis established at the faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. He has published a book, Approximation theory in the Central Limit Theorem. Exact Results in Banach Spaces  (1989) with V. Paulauskas.  His current research interests include:  limit theorems in probability theory, asymptotic statistics and its applications, functional data analysis.
